A Letter from Dr. Steve
Eskow,
PresidentThe Pangaea Network
is a learning community of communities, one that serves colleges, schools, companies,
associations and businesses in a shared environment. In such an environment these
organizations can learn from and serve each other, as well as have their own private
spacestheir own online campuses, schools and training centersto do their own
work of teaching and learning.
College professors can teach
from home and create student communities, which include both local students as well as
students from around the world.
School teachers can introduce
students to the riches of the Internet and conveniently meet with parents online.
Corporate trainers can now
create a community of geographically dispersed employees so that training and education
can occur around the clock, without physically bringing employees to a central learning
location.
Professional associations can
offer their services to members nationwide and worldwide.
Learning Businesses
publishers, film and video makers, software developers, consultants and other
services designed to enrich or support teaching and learning-can find their clients.
We invite all of the teaching and
learning organizations of the world to join with us in creating the Pangaea Network.
- Dr. Steve Eskow,
President, the Pangaea Network
